Estimate: €150,000-250,000
Chassis No. 15021
Engine No. 333051
"Ordered by Mr. Beghin, the sugar industrialist, this extremely rare K6 left the factory on March 20, 1935 to be bodied by Henri Binder as a two-door, four-seater faux convertible. Of the two surviving cars bodied by Binder, the 15021 is the only one with a closed, two-door body, the other being a chauffeur-driven coupe. Mr. Beghin kept his car until his death in 1968, and the car was sold by his heirs in 1983 to the collector Michel Seydoux, who entrusted the mechanical overhaul to Louis Rossigneux and the bodyshop restoration to Lecoq . Even before this work was completed, the K6 was acquired in 1985 by Jules Heumann, the president of the Club Hispano-Suiza USA, then, in 1989, it was Pierre Lallemant, the president of the Club Hispano-Suiza France, who became the owner. The current owner acquired it at auction in 2009. A high-quality car of extreme rarity, this elegant Hispano-Suiza K6 is offered with its Monegasque title deed."
