BMW M3 by Lecoq

2009

The owner of this BMW M3 wanted to have a completely redesigned vehicle, but above all to part with all the distinctions compared to the German brand. To follow his wishes and satisfy his needs, we had to remove all the distinctive BMW signs and then repaint the bodywork and the rims in matte black.

Here are the details of the operations carried out:

  • Removal of all removable elements: the 4 doors, the front fenders, the front and rear bumpers, the tailgate
  • Stripping of door trims, tailgate, ... careful removal of all seals, chrome strips and hubcaps, handles, mirrors, monograms, grilles, parking sensors, door, fender and bumper extensions, finally rims for interior and exterior painting.

The entire dismantled vehicle represents around a hundred parts.

  • Preparation for painting of all plastic elements, chrome with a specific primer, and each element removed and stripped beforehand.
  • Complete painting of the body interiors and the interiors of the removable elements removed.
  • Reassembly of the openings and the removable ones for exterior painting in a single pass to guarantee a perfectly identical color, an impeccable pearl effect and a perfectly dosed matte/satin varnish.
  • Painting of chrome elements and rims in another color.
  • Reassembly and dressing of the entire vehicle.
