Mini JCW by Lecoq

2010

The owner of this Mini Cooper John Cooper Works wanted to have a completely redesigned vehicle, but above all to make his car more exclusive. To follow his wishes and satisfy his needs, we were led to repaint the car in gray by adding a double stripe also painted then by creating carbon elements.

Here are the details of the operations carried out:

  • Removal of all removable elements: the 4 doors, the front fenders, the front and rear bumpers, the tailgate
  • Stripping of door trims, tailgate, ... careful removal of all seals, chrome strips and hubcaps, handles, mirrors, monograms, grilles, parking sensors, door, fender and bumper extensions, finally rims for interior and exterior painting.

The entire dismantled vehicle represents around a hundred parts.

  • Preparation for painting of all plastic elements, chrome with a specific primer, and each element removed and stripped beforehand.
  • Complete painting of the body interiors and the interiors of the removable elements removed.
  • Reassembly of the openings and the removable ones for exterior painting in a single pass to guarantee a perfectly identical color and a perfectly dosed metallic varnish.
  • Painting of chrome elements and rims in another color.
  • Added carbon elements.
  • Reassembly and dressing of the entire vehicle.
